¿Qué es la Sociedad Española de Psico-Oncología (SEPO)?
Es una Sociedad, de ámbito estatal, nacida del deseo de agrupar a los profesionales que se dedican o que están interesados en los aspectos psicológicos del enfermo de cáncer.

Que SEPO sea el dispositivo de conversación y de reflexión de nuestras voces, prácticas y políticas, destinado a generar sinergias para la investigación y el desarrollo teórico junto a otras sociedades científicas.
Dar a conocer la Psiconcología como aplicación de la Psicología Clínica y de la Psicología de la Salud a los campos de la Oncología y la Hematooncología.
Ofrecer directorio de Profesionales excelentes e Instituciones que provean servicios y unidades de Psiconcología tanto para pacientes como para familias.
Convertir a SEPO en la Sociedad donde los profesionales de la Psiconcología se sientan respaldados e identificados por su rigor con los valores de perspectiva científica y comprensión crítica de las distintas realidades locales sanitarias e institucionales.
Desarrollar la reflexión sobre el campo de la Psiconcología en los diferentes niveles: clínico, asistencial, gestión, institucional, legislativo-político, imagen pública e imaginario social.
Estudiar las diferentes realidades sanitarias donde se desempeña la labor profesional actual de la Psico-oncología española en aras de garantizar y defender los derechos humanos y las políticas de garantía de igualdad en el acceso a las prestaciones sanitarias.
